What exactly is the digital original?
For every spot sold, alongside the PDF certificate, we create one unique digital record on a public blockchain. It contains a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of the coordinates and the public wallet address linked to your account — never your name, email, or any other directly identifying data — and serves as an unchangeable, publicly accessible proof that this exact spot was registered through Blue From Sky at that point in time.
We create the record
Right after issuing the certificate, we create a matching digital record on a public blockchain.
No personal data
The record contains a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of the coordinates and the public wallet address linked to your account — never your name, email, or other directly identifying data.
Publicly verifiable
The record is public and unchangeable — anyone can verify it, at any time, without having to trust us alone.
Easy to verify
You and the recipient can both verify the certificate's authenticity with a single QR code scan or via the verification page.
Why we do this
We don't want the uniqueness of your spot to rely on trusting our database alone. A public blockchain record lets anyone — you, the recipient, or a third party — independently verify that the spot genuinely exists in our records.
