About Us
Blue From Sky is a symbolic registry of places in the sky. Here's why it exists and who runs it.
Why Blue From Sky exists
The idea came from a simple question: how do you give someone the memory of a place that matters to them, without it just becoming one more thing that eventually ends up forgotten in a drawer? Instead of an object, we chose to offer a symbolic registration of the exact point of sky above that place, with a certificate you can print, frame, or just keep on your phone.
What symbolic registration means
Registering with Blue From Sky is a symbolic gift product. It does not establish any real legal ownership of land, real estate, or airspace — it's an entry in a private company registry, not a government or land-registry record. That exact same spot is never resold once it's registered.
Why blockchain
A paper certificate or a plain database record can be lost, altered, or issued twice. That's why, alongside every registration, we also create an independently verifiable record on a public blockchain, whose existing on-chain data cannot be altered by Blue From Sky.
Blockchain verification ↗What happens to your coordinate after you buy it
Once registered, we don't offer that same coordinate for sale again in the Blue From Sky registry. It's not shown on the public Blue From Sky map by default; you can choose to have it shown there (without your name or email) voluntarily, right at checkout.
